LAGMF Update - Harry's Steakhouse

Since the beginning of the Lt. Adam Gustafson Memorial Fund, one of our primary missions has been supporting future generations of law enforcement through scholarships awarded in Adam’s memory. We are incredibly proud to have awarded $56,000 in scholarships to deserving students so far.

Last year to support current first responders, we gave out grills, smokers, and Blackstone griddles to local departments in Adam’s memory, along with $305 meat packages to honor Adam’s badge number – 305.

As we mark 5 years since losing Adam, we are so grateful to partner with Harry’s Steakhouse in West Fargo on a new initiative giving away fifty $100 gift cards to local first responders.

From the upscale atmosphere and incredible food, to the exceptional service and impressive whiskey selection, Harry’s Steakhouse is exactly the kind of place Adam would have loved. More importantly, it is the kind of place where people can slow down, reconnect, and enjoy meaningful time together.

First responder families face unique challenges. Shift work, long hours, stress, missed holidays, and the emotional weight of the job can take a toll on relationships and family life. We wanted to create something that encouraged first responders to step away for an evening, to sit down with a spouse, partner, family member, or friend and simply enjoy a night out – on Adam.

We hope this evening out provides an opportunity to make memories and a reminder that this community sees and appreciates the sacrifices first responders and their families make every day.
