Christmas is always hard.
Busy. Sad. Happy. All the things.
I’ve shared before and I’ll say again – be kind to yourself if
you’re newly grieving.
You do not have to do everything the way it was done before.
There is no perfect way to move forward so aim to enjoy the moments and find a little peace.
This year, I thought I’d share some gift ideas.
Up first is a gift Adam loved - his Smithey Ironware skillet.

Everyone needs a good cast iron skillet in their life.
They are perfect for a breakfast frittata, one-pan pasta
dish, or cheesy dip on the smoker.
Adam had his eye on this company. Loved their craftsmanship
and that their heirloom-quality cookware is made in America.
We gave him a Smithey No. 12 cast iron skillet for Father’s
Day in 2020. He was so excited to season it and get cooking. We did not know it
would be his last Father’s Day.

I never used the skillet before Adam died. He was our chef.
Now I cook with it often. I love this skillet and think of Adam every time I use it. These pieces are beautifully made, engravable and lasting.
If you have a good cook in your life, consider a Smithey this Christmas.
